About us
We believe the new era of law prioritises care, clarity, and conviction.
Founded in 2005, Coyle White Devine is a niche legal practice specialising in dispute resolution. Our team is made up of leading legal professionals, but we talk straight and we are completely outcome focused.
We are in the business of helping people.
We prioritise our clients. By enquiring about our clients’ financial constraints and their emotional investment in a specific legal problem, we are usually able to create a tailored, fixed-fee agreement.
In contrast to the usual charging model (ie ‘we charge by the hour, but can’t tell you how many hours we will spend’ – annoying, we agree!) our approach ensures that each client, regardless of their financial capacity, receives the optimal service their problem deserves.
In circumstances where law is always evolving but budgeting is crucial, we understand that having a reliable legal partner (who adds value and not stress) is a big business priority.
Disclaimer: While we strive to accommodate various budgets, certain limits may apply. We do not provide free legal counsel.
Our Approach
At CWD, we recognise the inherent risks in the justice system that all clients face. It’s why we advocate for negotiation over litigation. The complexities and unpredictability of court proceedings make them a risk. Our approach wherever possible is to resolve conflicts without resorting to litigation. We offer our clients a balanced, empathetic, and cost effective pathway to conflict resolution.
But we also understand that sometimes, court intervention is inevitable. Whenever appropriate within Court proceedings, CWD offers innovative funding solutions, including DBAs (damages based agreements) CFAs (conditional fee agreements) and fixed fees to prosecute good legal claims. We are also alive to all insurance options which might help clients to discharge their obligations to meet legal fees.
